Last week I shared a “must-read” story about long-term HIV/AIDS survivors. Published by the San Francisco Chronicle, the project includes a documentary premiering April 8. I’ll also be interviewing Jesus Guillen, one of the men in the article and film, in an upcoming ‘6 Questions‘ feature here at lgbtSr.
“Last Men Standing,” is The Chronicle’s first-ever 65-minute documentary that follows the lives of eight survivors of AIDS. These men outlived an epidemic, watched as their generation was decimated by the deadly disease — and are still fighting for their lives.
