On May 23rd, the LGBT Elder Initiative will host Still Here: Defiant Aging and HIV, a collaborative event with the AIDS Library and the People’s Paper Co-op. Whether you’re living with the virus, know someone who is, or have lost loved ones, you’re invited to come share about how HIV/AIDS has touched your life. Work with artists and activists from across the city to transform outdated medical materials into blank sheets of paper for community histories of survival, resilience, and defying expectations. Because our history is ours to create together!
This program is free, open to the public and will be held at:
The John C. Anderson Apartments
251 South 13th Street, Philadelphia.
Refreshments will be served.
