    Wonderful…. Wonderful…. WONDEFUL!!!

What a great interview. I am so glad you talked with Lady Ellen. She is better than Santa Claus because she gives exactly what you wish for… no questions asked.

I realized decades ago that I was transgender way before it was safe, comfortable, and convenient to live my life as I would like. I found ways and time to be myself but kept much in the shadows sharing with a select few. I am married (for decades) and while my wife knows and tolerates me it is not easy for us especially as my intensity and activity have increased.

Young people have it so much better now with a greater understanding of who we are by the general population, the internet to share their lives, the medical and technological advances to aid in achieving our dreams, the breakdown of social barriers and prejudices and the advancing social climate. In fact if I were young now I have no doubt how I would live.

I met Lady Ellen later in my life when I was comfortable being who I really am. She is a girlfriend and a mentor plus she does a terrific job with my makeup (I never can get it so perfect myself.) I feel like the prettiest girl on the planet when she is done.

Her social events are always fun. A girl will always feel comfortable there and it is easy to make new friends. Returning to events is like visiting family…. warm and happy.

Even if you never met her you can tell what a nice person Lady Ellen is by the friendly sound of her voice, the sincerity of what she says and the expertise she has attained through her years of being in the community.
Just thinking of her always puts a smile on my face and in my heart.

Thank you so much Mark for doing this interview.
    And thank you Lady Ellen.
