San Francisco’s Openhouse has launched an Indeigogo Campaign with the goal of raising $2500 to fund this year’s Thanksgiving Feat for LGBT seniors. You can see the page and donate HERE.
Each year the Openhouse Fall Feast provides LGBT seniors in San Francisco with a healthy Thanksgiving dinner…turkey, stuffing, yams, and cranberries…plus a dose of love on the side.
Help us make this year’s Fall Feast the biggest and the best ever! Our goal is to raise $2,500 to pay for the wholesome food we serve, the space we use, holiday decorations, and some flowers on the table.
Think of all we have to be thankful for 2014…three new states with marriage equality this year alone…the first openly gay NFL player…the first transgender Emmy nominee. LGBT seniors are the ones who started it all. They remember Stonewall and Harvey Milk. They helped make San Francisco a beacon of freedom and hope around the world.
Say thanks to our seniors for all they’ve done with your generous donation today…and Openhouse will give them a holiday dinner…with all the trimmings.
